I just got back from an amazing vacation in Palm Springs and Los Angeles but still had time to edit my weekly video and post my article today. What a great trip we had; I feel very alive and refreshed! (Well with the exception of a little too much wine!)
Always take time out for yourself and to enjoy life! ❤
Today’s topic – Relationship Advice: Don’t Go to Bed Mad Stay up And Fight.
It is better to try to resolve issues between a couple than to ignore them and hope they will go away. Everyone wants to be heard and have their feelings validated. Respect and compromise will keep a relationship flowing for a long time.
We all want to be heard! Communication is the key to a happy and healthy partnership.
There is no room for a controlling partner in your life, and you shouldn’t have to continually walk on eggshells around them to keep the peace at home. This means it is very important to always have a reciprocated respect for one another.
Just because you may not agree with their advice or their viewpoint, doesn’t mean you can’t have a civilized discussion where you both listen to each other without interruption.
Life is full of controversy and if there weren’t some ups and downs to deal with, things would get pretty boring. Arguments can actually make a relationship grow into a healthy place because it can improve an ongoing problematic situation by discussing it and getting to the root of the issue.
Ignoring things because you don’t want to deal with them, will eventually cause a black hole in your partnership.
Not everything is easy to talk about but you chose each other for a reason; don’t you want to keep working on what you do love about each other? If you want keep things in a happy environment at home then you need to acknowledge and hear each other on a daily basis.
If you are finding that your relationship is just too argumentative and you are always dealing with an angry scenario, then it is definitely time to seek counselling. You shouldn’t have to live on a continuous roller coaster ride.
Please leave your comments below this post. I LOVE to hear from both men and women & will always take time to answer you back.
